Ruby Red Soda

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 hibiscus tea bags
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup soda water
  • 3 thin slices lime

Directions


  1. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan or tea kettle, then remove from heat and pour into a mug. Add tea bags; steep 5 minutes to create a bright red condensed tea.
  2. Remove tea bags from mug and let tea cool for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Pour tea into a tall glass; add ice cubes, 2 slices lime, and soda water. Serve with the remaining lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
