Okay, I realize that it’s still the beginning of the school year, but I’m already looking to break out of the PBJ rut. Don’t get me wrong, we love a good PBJ in my home, but eating (and making) the same thing day-in-and-day-out is just plain boring.
I don’t know about you, but I often do best at breaking out of a rut when I have a “theme” to inspire me. So what food, other than PBJ, does virtually every kid in America love??? Pizza!
But we all know that cold pizza in a lunchbox, isn’t exactly a stellar meal. So, what’s a good solution? Homemade pizza “lunchables”!
The best thing about this visually-appealing lunch is that you can jam-pack your kid’s lunchbox with a ton of veggies…and they’ll think it’s FUN because they can play with their food and assemble their own meal. Win, win, win!
Note: I received free samples of HONEST Kids Super Fruit Punch and Organic Valley Stringles, which I used in making this lunch. While the product was provided to me free-of-charge, they are products that my family enjoys and that I feel good about giving to my kids.
